Directions to the Museum

NOTE: To reach the History Museum and Genealogy Center, you must turn into the new parking lot entrance near the Heritage Hills Banquet Hall located at the west end of the property next to the Museum & Genealogy Center. Click on the map link below for a visual reference. The Museum is beneath the word “banquet” on the map.

DIRECTIONS: The easiest way to find the Laurel County History Museum and Genealogy Center is via the new access road which goes right by the Museum:

Traveling South on I-75: take Exit 41.

Use the right lane to take exit 41 for KY-80 toward Somerset/London

Turn left onto KY-80 E/W Hal Rogers Parkway (signs for London/Manchester).

Travel one-half mile and turn right onto Heritage Road (no street sign; the road is just past the Arby’s restaurant).

Travel 1.1 miles and turn left into the Heritage Hills Banquet Hall entrance. The Laurel County History Museum and Genealogy Center is on the upper side of the property just past the Banquet Hall.

Traveling North on I-75: take exit 41.

Use the right lane to take exit 41 for KY-80 toward Somerset/London

Turn right onto KY-80 E/W Hal Rogers Parkway (signs for London/Manchester)

Travel one-half mile and turn right onto Heritage Road (no street sign; the road is just past the Arby’s restaurant).

Travel 1.1 miles and turn left into the Heritage Hills Banquet Hall entrance. The Laurel County History Museum and Genealogy Center is on the upper side of the property just past the Banquet Hall.

Traveling from the East (Manchester or North Main Street) via Highway 80/Hal Rogers Parkway:

Travel 0.2 miles from the intersection of Hwy. 80/Parkway and U.S. 25/North Main Street; turn left onto Heritage Road (no street sign; the road is just before the Arby’s
restaurant). See directions above to complete the journey.

Traveling from the West (Somerset) via Highway 80/Hal Rogers Parkway:

Travel one-half mile past I-75 (Exit 41) and turn right onto Heritage Road (no street sign; the road is just past the Arby’s restaurant).
